I have an account with Provident and have found out that an agent has been discussing my account with a neighbour also they told my neighbour that I kept my kids locked in a bathroom.
What comeback if any do I have.
Please give sources.Many thanks

ok, tell ur agent to fuck right off excuss my languge but this country has a srtrict data protection act with simple rules for example act 1 is to protect customer and client detailed what ever action may be nessisary, under no circumstance should this of happend and is an law abiding offence act now to provident and go to your local office to complain to the area manager

If this is Provident Mutual Insurance you can complain to the Insurance Ombudsman. However, you would be advised to complain to the Firm first. You should have documentation outlining the complaints procedure. Follow this first, include a time limit to prompt a quick response, and if they drag their heels contact the Ombudsman.
