Can Photoshop do this? Please help!!?

I have this picture that I really like, but I think it was because of the flash of the camera that my face looks really pale and the rest of my body looks tan haha. Is there anyway to fix that? Also my friend wondering if you could make someone's face look slimmer through photo-shop? I've actually never used it before so I have no idea. Is it free or do you have to download it? If you could just give me as much information as possible that would be great! Thanks!!! Will choose best answer as soon as I can. :)
 
you can adjust the light, but first you have to select the area you want adjust, It takes a lot of time to select the whole area by using the pen tool, that will take a lot of efforts and the end result might not come as good.


So it's easier to just re-take the picture.
 
Photoshop will run you around $700. You can download GIMP from gimp.org for free. Gimp is like photoshop, except it is free and not as powerful, but for color correcting photos, it's fine. You can also make someone slimmer in either of these programs. Look up tutorials online for either of these programs.
Adobe.com has tutorials for photoshop.
Also, you can just google either "photoshop tutorials" or "gimp tutorials" and find what you are looking to do. Either of these programs will take a lot of practice and learning to get right.
