I found a snake while working that closely resembled my ball python but with brighter colors and a more slender body. Im in dayton ohio and cant find any snakes that looks like it

Snakes such as boas and pythons could live in Ohio in the wild during the summer but would not be able to survive the winters. If it was a python it probably got loose recently. If it was truly a wild snake it was more than likely a rat, or king snake morph. There are so many different varieties of these types of snakes it is impossible to keep track of them all.

as stated in previous answer yes it "may" survive an Ohio summer if the temps stay above 65 degrees. But once it gets below that it will die in a short amount of time, unless it has a good heat source somewhere.
