I've just been wondering, my almost 14 year old brother is very overweight, over 200lbs, 5' 6" and obviously at his age, he's going through puberty at the moment.
It's just that when I was his age I did develop a lot of hair all over my body like all guys do, specifically around the navel, stomach and legs and arms.
We went to the pool recently and he literally has no hair what so ever on him! You wouldnt think it for a kid of his age. I've heard before that obesity can slow puberty, is this true and is it serious? Me and my sister are trying to motivate him to lose some weight.
I'm almost 17 and a few of my friends I noticed when we change for PE who are obese have hardly any hair on them either. And it's not just the hair but other things that develop during puberty that i'm concerned about! And don't ask if he shaves it because I know he doesn't, he's always going on about this!
Any help would be great,
Thanks,
Danny.
