sweet thing

A few years ago, before we bought our computer, we had the NTL WORLD internet through our television. We had a keyboard and could search the internet, send emails to friends and companies and receive replies back from them.
We then purchased a computer, but because my husband had a bad habit of deleting emails sent to me before I had chance to read them, I decided to carry on using the television email system. Even though we had had the internet side of it removed, the email side of it was still usable.
Up until three days ago I could send emails to other people, receive replies back from them, and could forward an email to my other computer if I wanted to print something off.
I can still receive and send emails but can no longer forward them to my other computer.
I have spoken to Virgin but so far no-one has got back to me, I just wondered if anyone knew what had gone wrong.
Perhaps no-one has heard of the television email system, but believe me it was great, you could not print anything off but could search everything to your hearts content, and on a 32 ins screen as well.
So it would be appreciated if anyone out there knows how to correct this little problem.
Thank you.
Thanks for your reply. This is what happens.
When I have received the television email message and read it, if I want to copy something that is in the email to keep for my records, I click the box that has three items in it.
1) Delete message
2) Forward Message
3) Reply
4) Reply to all
I click on 'forward message'
I then get a box that asks me to enter the email address that I want to forward the email to.
In this case, it is my laptop (different email address).
I enter in the email address and a sign comes up stating 'message sent'. The message is never received in my laptop emails.
