I am 4 months pregnant in TX, and my best friend has informed me of the risks of autism connected with infant immunizations, as well as any newborn needle injections. I am still undecided on the matter, though any opinions on this issue are not necessary. I will be on medicaid, and have heard that they are able to preform many tests without the mother's consent, for example drug testing the newborn. I am not a drug user and if I decide that I want no needle injections on the newborn, are they still able to do this? That would make me very angry- to risk autism for something as stupid as a blood drug test. Does anyone know the legalities in this area? Please do not comment on the risks of autism, rather focus on the legalities... Thank you
