Someone attempted to steal my Pioneer cd stereo from my Toyota truck. Thanks to my friend who installed the unit, the thief was unable to get the job done. The trim ring had been removed and the right lower corner of the unit was sticking out, I was able to pop the side back into place but now the cd player doesn't work, I know there is a cd in the player but unable to get it to eject. Does anyone know of a way to get my cd to eject? Also should I see if I can someone to fix my stereo or just plan on purchasing a new stereo?

yea.. i had the same problem..you have to take out your entire unit but leave the wires hooked up. Then open the whole thing until you see the cd and play around with it.. i did it and now my thing is better then new!

You may be able to take the unit out of the car and open it up by removing screws. I would try to open it up and remove the CD that's in there, put the unit back in, power it on, insert another CD, and see if it works.
