Hello yes they can tell, i had a problem with my vodafone and i called them to ask what i could do and they said the (im) I think thats right wasn't matching the phone.

how about your house hold insurance?

i have got a bb torch on vodafone, 500mb limit, 3000 texts, 500mins but i have been using the sim in an iphone for a month, but now i have lost my blackberry, it was stolen out my pocket on the bus, i mainly use bb for playing music through it. i have insurance which i took out a month earlier before it was stolen. what will happen? many thanks
I still am covered, so i might just call them up and tell them its been stolen

Hi Claire if you call up & tell them its stolen then you may have to get a crime report from the police 1st ! now what your have to do is when you phone up be honest with the insurance company & explain to them that you have been using your sim in aniother phone because if your still ussing the original sim from the bb in an i phone because if you dont & vodafone know your still using the original sim they may well question to how the sim is still being used & if you dont tell them then there either cancel your claim because you've not been honest about it or what vodafone will do is put an automatic block on the sim which will cause you more problems ... hope this helps ..s ly
