can my mother in law take me to court over this?

my ignorant mother in law had an argument with my mother and now my MIL wants to take me to court so she can see my daughter (her granddaughter). i always take my daughter over to see my MIL, but i guess after the argument she was afraid i wasn't going to bring my daughter over to see her anymore. can she take me to court to get visitation rights?
fyi: she doesn't support my daughter in any way, nor does her son (my daughters father).
and my daughter is 4 years old.
