Can my friend get out of the army by saying he's gay?

Depends. If the CO doesn't buy it, the CO can order and investigation. If it comes out that he was a faker, he WILL get out of the Army, but not quite in the way he expected.
 
My buddy really wants to get out but has two more years on his contract. He wants to know if he can get out by telling his CO that he's gay.

Two years will go by quick. Whatever he probably does to wreck his career will end up hurting him in the long run. It's probably not a smart idea having your friend say he's gay to get out. Obama now stated a new open policy to allow Gay military members to be open about their sexuality. So he wont get kicked out, if anything he will just be extremely embarassed.
 
Lmfao son he has a lot to learn Inc you sign your name on that line you belong to the military for 4years or 8 but also there is a no tell poicy of ura gay keep quiet. I had to say he is stuck there for 2more years also why does he want to leave I will take hi place I want to fight for my country !!!
