...raise in mid march? I live in the state of California, and it was brought to the attention of your CFO that we as exempt employees are to make double that of minimum wage. I was given a raise by my direct supervisor for my work performance. At the beginning of 2009 we as exempt employees lost 3% but some received their 3% back in September of this year. In November, are agency made the correction of the exempt employees pay rate, however, I did not receive my 3% nor did I receive my pay rate increase. It appears as if my employers are holding my raise against me. Can they legally hold my raise against me, and not give me my 3% that I lost in 2009, and also not compensate me for the actually pay rate that I should have been paid at as if I had not received an raise?
