I work at a retail store in Wisconsin and am usually scheduled until 9:15. The company i work for recently told us if we close (work till 9:15) we are required to stay until 9:30 instead. They do not put on our schedule that we are supposed to work until then. Recently managers have been keeping us until 10 or later. I am incredibly frustrated because it is almost impossible to make plans after work because i do not know what time i'll be done. I am wondering if there is any law that prevents them from keeping me that late. I don't want to bring it up to my manager for fear that i will get fired and lose my only source of income. Thank you!
