I have history of anxiety and depression. These caused me to have adult ADD. I've put that problem aside ever since my daughter was born. I was never medicated, as I was just in process of going under some sort of medication. It's been almost 2 years since my daughter was born and I've started school again. I am having trouble concentrating in school and been very stressed out with my school work results. My grades are not good as it should be and I am wondering if my mental disorders are kicking back in,.
After researching and talking to a friend who is currently medicated for adult ADD I decided I want to give Adderall a try. I am also about 80lbs overweight and thought Adderall can help me loose some weight too.
I am planning on seeing my family doctor to see what my options are. Can any doctor prescribe medication such as Adderall? or should i go see a psychiatrist for this.
