I heard you can get a pet DNA tested to get some clues into it's breed/lineage. Is this true, and where do you get it done? How accurate are the tests, and are they expensive?

I don't really care if my cats are "purebred" or not, I would love them the same either way, I'm just curious as every vet I've taken to always comments on their appearance as not simply being domestic so I thought it would be interesting.
