Can my car stereo be fixe?!?

hello. i own a PHASELINEAR JENSEN UV9, and i recently blew it up due to my dumb frend letting positive and negative wires touch. so now it duznt work at all. i know its not any fuses. so i would like to know if it is even possible to fix a car stereo after it blows up.
 
i do not see how that blew your radio since the power wires are before the unit. if you wired the radio backwards i see how that will blow the radio. and there is always a way to fix a radio just the question is can you do it?
 
Sounds to me that you blew a fuse cause like Mario stated is that the power is before the head unit. Now if you applied positive to negative of head unit then that is another story and the positive would have been grounded to complete the circuit anyway.
