So far this year, I have missed 3 days of work. One was for the flu and the other was because of a stomach bug. The third was because of a family member who had to be rushed to the ER. My boss wrote me up for the last incident involving the ER. He also wrote me up for the second incident in which he said I was lying. My job does not have any specific guidelines as to how much sick time can be used during the year or quarter other than the time we have designated in our sick bank. I had enough sick time to cover these instances. There are a few other employees that have called in and also no-showed, double the time I have used, and have not been written up once. Is there anything I can do?
