can more then one credit card company garnish your wages at the same time?

One card is at 9k, the other two are around 5K. The smaller ones have been sold off to collection companies.
 
obviously the answer is yes. only spend what you hav!!!
sounds like they get it easy in kansas^^^, probably why the american economy is so fucked.
 
Yes. But only 25% of your wages can be garnished at any give time (at least in Kansas, it might be different where you live). So, if you have 2 companies garnishing you, they have to split what is taken out. Of course, interest charges continue to pile up until the bill is paid.
