Can more RAM make games run better?

Can a halfway intelligent person answer this. I know enough about computers that I feel it's safe to say I know this wouldn't make a difference in my case, but I would like to know if anyone has had any success with this. I already have 2 Gigs of RAM. With another like 2 Gigs in page file usage on my C drive. I want to know if I used a SD flash card as another 2 Gigs of page file usage on that if I could get a performance increase. I already have a slightly overclocked 512 Geforce 8400gs. but seriously I can hardly run WoW, which to me sounds like bullshit.
 
yes because the RAM is responsible for processing a certain amount of memory at a given time. 2g is good , if u have more it will boost the work up.
