...hard to be happy on your own? I know babies have been known to die or get really sick from not being loved, hugged, or cuddled enough. Can this happen to adults too, maybe not the dying part, but the getting really sick part? Can grown ups also suffer physically from loneliness over a long period of time?
I try to cope with my loneliness; I fill the void by watching movies, busying myself in work and school, going to the gym, etc, but the loneliness is still there, and now, during my third year of being single, being lonely is worse than ever. It’s starting to hurt not only emotionally, but physically as well, I can barely move some days. So, no matter what you do to stay happy and busy, if loneliness is not solved, can it eventually kill you or making you really sick? Can being alone take a toll on your body?
Thanks in advance.
