Can it make the Bible true or more significant that it is actually 66 books,...

...written by over 40 authors,? AND, AS I"M TOLD, written in 3 different languages, on three different continents, all over 1500 years ago. I HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT GOD AND THE SUPERNATURAL. I am told that these facts about the writing of the Bible SOMEHOW PROVES the Bible is, in fact a SUPERNATURAL BOOK, inspired by God.
I DON'T Get It. WHAT DOES THIS PROVE?

P.S. I'm NOT asking if this is all true. I AM ASKING what all these facts would prove, because I THINK IT WENT OVER MY HEAD. I just don't see the SIGNIFICANCE. Couldn't I find comparably unique points about other books, or do I not understand the literary world. WHAT am I missing here?

'They' think the bible is 'proven' because so many people in so many different areas had similar thoughts and beliefs...

Truth is, in about 600AD, a council of "good christian men" got together to make the christian (solar) calendar, & they put together the bible we know today... There were HUNDREDS of authors with tons of chapters and they threw out any that didn't fit that council's vision... Back then women were property, so that's 90% of the reason we didn't get equality until the last 50 years or so, and even then, not really... (Rumor is that the original scriptures had a LOT of stories about empowered women, but the council was all made up of men who "owned" wives & daughters, so they ommitted anything that went against their personal beleifs)

A LOT of people claim the bible was written by god himself, but it wasn't... it was written by MANKIND and edited by MANKIND, though inspired by religion, it was not written directly by god.
