I am currently a college senior, and work as a tutor after school. The majority of my clientele go to the same private high school. I inquired about teaching at the high school after graduation, but their math department is currently full. I would like to keep tutoring because I enjoy it and it is considerably more lucrative than any other job opportunities I currently qualify for, but until now I could not figure out how to be able to do that during the day as a full time job.
I got the idea to work as a private tutor during school hours, and hold lessons with my students at school during their free periods. I want to present the idea to the math dean, but I would like to know a little bit more about if this is a possibility or if there are certain legal issues that might get in the way. I couldn't find the answers I needed on the California government website. Does anyone know anything about this?
