Can I wire 4 4ohm subs to 2 channels at 4ohms per channel?

Is it possible to wire up four subs with an impedence of 4 ohms into 2 channels of an amp presenting a 4ohm load per channel? In other words, can I connect two 4ohm subs and get a 4ohm load out of this? Then just do this with both channels? If so how? Also the subs are SVC. Thanks
 
Most systems use 8-ohm loads, not 4. If you used two 4-ohms in serial ( end to end ) use, you'd get 4 + 4 = 8 ohm load. If you put them in parallel ( side by side wiring ), you'd get LESS than a 4-ohm load, due to the fact that in parallel, one unit allows 4 ohms, but you're also allowing a parallel load to let electricity thru, so it turns out the load will be less than 4 ohms. probably 3.5 to 3.8 ohm. Anyway, it'd depend on your amp's load requirements as to how to wire it. If you want to keep it at 4 ohms, then wire both + ends together on two, and the minus ends, and run your speaker wiring to the paired wires. If you need an 8-ohm load, wire one - and + side together , then wire the plus and minus speaker wires to the other two ends that are plus and minus respectively.

No. Two 4 ohm subs can eitehr be 2 ohm or 8 ohm.
