Can I use this MIDI keyboard?

I have a Yamaha PSRE223 Portable Home 61 Key Keyboard and I was wondering can I use this to compose music on software. I want to put Different sounds on Different keys; can this keyboard do this? If not, can you direct me to a site where I can purchase one that can.
