can i use the power adaptor got in apple composite av cable, directly to my ipod to

charge it? hi guys

i just bought ipod touch and also going to buy APPLE COMPOSITE A/V CABLE

i know that i will get the following things in the package
a power adaptor
an av cable with integrated dock connector

my exact question is that can i use the power adaptor got in the APPLE COMPOSITE A/V CABLE package as a direct power adaptor to my ipod using a separate dock connector cable and charge my ipod ??

or else i had to buy a power adaptor sold separately for my ipod touch

please send the reply soon !!!

because if my ipod's battery is drained off then i have to always turn on my PC and charge it

if its the standard ipod connector then yes you should be able to use it.

Edit -just looked at specs and yes you can charge from the USB adapter included with the a/v cable kit but you need a standard USB cable for this (the one you connect to your PC with).
