I bought a brand new phone from WIND over the summer problem is im sick and tired of the phone but i looovee the plan that i have so i want to keep the sim but get a new phone. Yes i know WIND has phones but none that i even like. I tried annd put the sim into a unlocked motorola v3 its about 3-4 yrs old and it worked only problem was it said wind away which is useless. Can i buy a phone from lets say rogers, get it unlocked and would it work ? In my opinion that it didnt work in the motorola is because it cannot read the sim card but i could be wrong so thats why im wondering is if i buy a new phone is it possible that it would actually work ?
*btw the wind away means that i still have signal but im outside of my coverage area.
