can i use my old orange lgks360 sim to my new orange blackberry curve handset?

i bought a new blackberry curve on orange payg,i have lgks360 from orange as well, i didnt activate my new sim that came with the blackberry phone coz i want to use my old sim, i tried to insert the old sim but it seems the phone wont allow coz i cant receive or make any call or text messages though when i put it back on my old mobile it works, tried to ring 450 they said it should work but its not.any idea?pls help....
