Can I use E-85 in a 2008 Pontiac G6?

I'm getting a rental car and I need to know what this gas will do to it.
I need to know if it would be worth it to get E-85, like would I be saving money, because I know that there is a reduction in MPG when you use E85.
 
it will say on the fuel cap and yes you could but why use it its like the cheapest type of gas made not the best
