S sunnyconures246 New member Sep 23, 2009 #2 i wouldnt recommend it. even dead live rock still has all the salt and dead organisms inside the rock.

F fishygirl90210 New member Sep 23, 2009 #3 if you mean coral then yes. only use it with african cichlids or a type of fish who needs a pH higher than usual because it raises the pH
