Hello,
I've spent ALL day today doing my phone homework. Looking into getting a new phone tomorrow and going to go with the Blackberry Curve 8900. This is the part that is really bothering me. Do I NEED a data plan? I'm with AT&T and I've been using a Samsung Blackjack 2 for about 2 months with NO data plan and no surprises on the bill. I'm getting the phone tomorrow from a guy off of Craigslist but do I absolutely need a data plan? I've been reading all day that I do and I don't. What's the real truth? I'm pretty convienced that I don't because I've been running off my blackjack 2 for months now. AT&T can't make me do anything but I just need to know are they going to stick me with a data plan? please help!
