Can I use An Xbox 360 Xbox live card to work on my Regular Xbox?

The only place I can get a 12 month starter pack is at Amazon
And the price is $150 and I didnt think it cost anymore than $69 -$75. And Its alot easier to find Xbox 360 card than Xbox cards.

please help
