Can I use a Verizon router on Comcast modem?

So, I currently use a Belkin N150 router but the problem is that it's not compatible with my PSP. But i also have a Verizon router that I used to use before and that connects with my PSP. But I have Comcast high speed internet with the Comcast modem. And, the Verizon router connectects to DSL but the comcast is cable. So is there any way I can use my Verizon router on my Comcast internet?
 
If you plug the Modems connection into the correct port to give a signal to the router then it shouldn't matter what internet you are using as long as the router works properly.
