Here is the high and low of it. Just like with any carrier, US Cellular requires it to be a US Cellular phone to activate on their line. IF it comes unlocked then it can be activated on your account however if their associates see that it is not a US Cellular phone they will not activate this phone for you. 1 really important reason for this. THe phone will work, but chances of it remaining consistent with making and receiving calls,texts and pics becomes low. Each phone is made with the exact features of the company its intended for. So yes it comes off the same conveyor belt, but after that the programing changes based on the carrier its intended for. Just some info to help you make a good decision.
