I already have T-Mobile and I like the plan I have, but I have a friend who is willing to sell me his Sidekick for $50. I realize that this is an amazing deal, especially considering I have wanted one for a long time. I was just wondering if it is usable without the data plan. I do not care at all about internet or anything like that, but I do want to be able to call and send messages. I also know that the Sidekick will delete certain things like contacts, pictures, etc every once in awhile, but I was wondering if there was any way I could avoid the picture thing by using a memory card perhaps? Sorry if I am asking a lot, but I want to make sure I don't blow $50 on something I can't use.
