Can I use a Rogers BlackBerry Curve 3G/9300 on Telus?

Alright, so, my friend i gonna sell me his Blackberry Curve 3G/9300 from Rogers, even though I am on Telus. I read that I have to get it unlocked and I need a Telus simcard. Where can I go to unlcok it? And how do I activate the Telus simcard? ..becuase the phone I have right now with Telus doesn't use a simcard. Thaaanks :)
