Can I use a Palm Treo 700p or 755p on a sprint SERO plan?

I have a SERO plan for $30/ month. I do not want to have to pay an extra $10 a month to cover data that I do not use. I like smartphones because they sync with my computer contacts and calendar. It looks like an older treo 700p or 755p would work on it...but I wanted to know if anyone out there knew for sure.
