Can i use a boost mobile phone with AT&T network?

my carrier is AT&T but i found a boost mobile phone that i like and i understand that they have sim cards. Would the boost mobile phone have to be unlocked in order to use it or would i just have to put my sim card in it?
 
Even if you unlock you will not be able to use the AT&T sim as far as I know. Only GSM networks can be unlocked either through network provider or third party unlockers like Unlocking4u.com .Even after unlock one can use other GSM networks only.

I do not currently have the ability to read BSMX files from the mobile at this time. You would need to add them to a recipe unfortunately.Brad
