Can I use a blackberry curve with just a minutes and message plan on Verizon.?

No...unfortunatly you have to get the $30 "blackberry" plan. That's not what its called but its some sort of data plan. You do not get unlimited messages with that either. But I have unlimited texts for $10 or 15. So I would ask about that!

But I bought a BB on eBay thinking I could just activate it and use it withought having the internet and I was told you can't without adding a data plan when I called Verizon. And that was the cheapest data plan.

Good luck! I have a BB curve 2 and LOVE IT! Once you go to a BB you wont go back!
 
My cousin is giving me his old curve and i want to change my voyager for it. My plan has like 700 minutes and the $30 unlimited text plan. I can change on the Verizon website can i switch to the blackberry or won't it work? And if it won't why not?
