I would like to root my HTC Droid Eris (running 2.1), but I am scared that if something happens to my phone I won't be able to get a new one because my warranty will be voided.
If I root, is there a way to unroot if I needed to? Will the warranty still be voided? Can Verizon tell that the phone was rooted?
