live in suburban semi decent sized west facing garden with green house. there is a patio then a garden. it already has a greenhouse. can i turn the garden into a vegetable patch and put a hen house for 4 hens in it? my neighbors have objected as they say they don't want to see a load of soil, but we really want to sustain ourselves veg wise and teach our kids about healthy eating and looking after your food hence hens for eggs. plus its great exercise for the 3 of us and something to do as a family. it wouldn't even be messy and i think growing crops look lovely! i am a teacher so have all summer off to tend it! x
