I have a angel fish and two dwarf gouramis in a 25 gallon tank. When I purchased my tank I only had the one gourami and the angel fish. I purchased a second gourami and the new one is territorial. I have noticed my old one is getting fin rot so I put the "mean one" into a smaller tank by himself. Kind of like a time out. Can I treat my old gourami for fin rot in the same tank with the angel fish? Or do I have to put him in a sick tank and treat him?

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER put two dwarf gouramis in a tank together!!!!!! You can only put one, or 3 or more! When you put 3 or more, then they establish a pecking order so it's not like only one picks on the other. When there is only one dwarf gourami by itself, there is no compatibility issues for obvious reasons. But when you put exactly two together, the stronger one WILL be aggressive to the weaker one, and the weaker one may get fin rot (As you know.) Treat the tank (with the gourami AND the healthy angelfish) with aquarium salt, Melafix, and pimafix according to the directions. Raise the temp to 81 degrees. Treat daily with the meds but NOT with the salt, and treat for a week and do a water change after the first three days. Good luck!
