I am wanting to take a last minute trip to Ibiza, Spain and I don't have a passport. I am currently stationed overseas and have been told from several friends that all I need is a Leave form and military ID to travel around Europe. Every where I have looked tells me other wise....(Need passport!!!) Please help

In theory you can (it is part of a NATO agreement we have), but I wouldn't go try going to Spain that way. I tried once and was turned back at the Spanish border. What is worse, a Venezuelan guy who was next to me in the train had his season train pass stolen by the Spanish border patrol.

Anyway, there are plenty of other great places to visit in Europe, a lot of them closer. My favorite spots to hit up included Amsterdam and Prague.
