Can I transfer PC software programs from a zip disk to a flash drive?

Later this year my group is buying a new IBM-based PC which may not have a zip drive built in to the PC tower. How can I transfer programs from an older PC with a zip drive (which we currently have) to our new one which doesn't have it but can accept the new USB flash drives?
 
Yes I myself use over 200x Zip drives. All linked to usb back to my PC. There just magnetic storage like another form of storage. I use my for files and web page storing. When they come on all at once my god the sound of all them Head reading & searching its so cool. Simply drag & drop you file from the Zip to the drive its self.
