A company is chasing me for a very large CCJ. I have offered a settlement sum and this has been refused. They have stated they will start bankruptcy proceedings.
I have no assets (other than car) and am currently unemployed. I have a car worth around £8k and would like to transfer to my spouse as only transport we have. Can the officer check with the DVLA and what info do the DVLA provide? Also how can they prove that cash was not paid for the vehicle by spouse?
Does the fact that they will force bankruptcy make any difference in this cas?
