The quiet one

Ok i have a verizon qualcamm 3g cdma and i have some message on it that i want to keep. What happened was i broke the screen on the phone. I want to bring it to verizon and get a replacement but i want to keep the messages because they are pictures and videos that my gf sent me of herself. I cant foreward the messages besause the screen is broke. Will they be able to transfer the messages from my broken phone to my new phone or can i use that bitman program to do it?

Unfortunately, Verizon will not be able to transfer your multimedia objects. They will only be able to transfer your phonebook. I can not speak to the BitPim issue, as I am not sure what model of phone you have. Qualcomm CDMA is the "operating system" of the phone, not the brand or model.

I pretty much have the same problem I dropped my phone (Verizon Samsung SCH-U740). I am very OCD with my messages and I need help finding a way if there is a way to get my messages from my old phone to my new one. If anyone knows any way to do that PLEASE let me no!!

Thanks,
Tricia

there is one way! Most people are not aware that it isnt that hard to repair their phones. If the media means that much to you then you should be able to get the parts and fix it. there are sites that sell the parts just google around and see what you can get. Just to give you an idea I have a blackberry pearl and to fix the LCD on that you can get the part for like 35 bucks. A storm screen is about 70. There is one thing though. When you open the phone up it negates the warrenty but it doesnt seem that you are too worried about that - more the media. But I think i would rather a working phone with the beloved media and no warrenty than a brand new sparkly phone with a clean slate and a warrenty. Hope that helps
