Can I trade in my LG Shine for a Sony ericsson with a rogers contract?

Hey! I signed up with a 3 year rogers contract last xmas and got the new Lg Shine phone but now I want the sony ericsson w580i pink slide up!! Is there anyway I can give my LG shine back and get the new sony ericsson phone or am I stuck with the LG until my contract is over?
