I am a high school senior and I have go attend community college. Im going to transfer to a UC after my second year in c.c., but I don't know whether or not I should take some premed courses in those two years. I've read and understand that premed courses taken at a c.c. aren't as accredited as those taken at a 4-year uni. So, I want the academic prestige of having taken all my premed courses at a 4-year uni but, is it possible to take them ALL in my jr and sr years after i transfer to a UC, rather than take some at my c.c., finish my premed at a UC and possibly lose some credibility for having taken those premed courses at a c.c. in the admissions process.

premed you need crazy amounts of chemistry, basically a lecture and lab each semester, but most UC's will take the credit but at a lower level, so there's maybe another two lec/labs.The same goes with your Calc 1 and Physics it is possible, but you defiantly want to back some off your plate JR and SR year cause you'll want to study for the MCAT if not you'll be swamped. So just go 4 yr uni, it'll save you some summers.

It would be hard to take all of the premed course in two years. Start in the cc. It will be fine. Med schools look at your gpa and you mcat scores. You need the pre reqs to assist you in doing well on the mcat. Best wishes
