I am on birth control, but have been having unprotected sex (besides the pill). I have been on bc for over two years now and my period has always been normal (my period starts every tuesday on the last week of the pack) I've has sex quite a few times the past couple of months without a condom. My last period, i had sex before and after it. 2 weeks later after my period i started bleeding, not much it was very light, and it was dark brown, and one day it was bright pink, and it only lasted 3-4 days. I started cramping and feeling like i was on my period although i was not due for my period. Now, a month after my last period and 2 weeks after my irregular bleeding, i am on the last week of pills in the pack and due for my period. I was supposed to start yesterday, but nothing happened. Today i woke up and decided to put a tampon in, i have been spotting and its very light and bright pink, nothing like my regular period. I think i might be pregnant? is it possible and does it sound like there is a chance that i am? I took a test monday afternoon, i bought it from the dollar general, it said negative. i read how its best to take it in the morning and not to drink alot of fluid before taking, and i drank a whole glass of tea before i took it that way i would be able to pee. is it ok to take one now since i was supposed to start my period tuesday and it started today but it is not regular? or should i wait a few more days?
can i take a test now? or wait?
