Can i switch colleges to the US if im in panama but they have a Florida State here?

I am living in Panama right now, and Im going to highschool here. But i am from The United States, I was going to go back to college in the US, but my boyfriend graduates his college two years after Im suppose to go back to the US. ( And im from florida) But theres a Florida State College here in Panama, I want to know if I could go to college in Panama for about 1 and a half or two years and then switch to a college in florida for the rest of my years so i can go back with me boyfriend. Can someone please help me with this. =/ Im sooo worried. Thanks
