Can I swap a 95 Toyota Tercel Auto Transmision into a 91 AT Tercel ?

95 engine is 5E. 91 is 3E.
But will the 95 transmission work ok in the 91? Anything that needs tto be done to make it work?Can I hear from someone who has ever done this?
