Can I sue Walmart for their pots/pan's teflon bubbling off while cooking?

Anytime we cook food, soup, or even boil water the black inner lining teflon flakes off and pollutes our food, soup, or water. Is this cancerous?

Also, one time we were cooking eggs and the teflon just started to bubble and started a chemical fire (tons of chemical smoke, no actual fire) and we had to air out our apartment for 30 minutes and coughed for the next 3 hours. This was NOT our fault, we properly oiled/buttered the pan and did not overcook it or the eggs. It was a natural, normal cooking session but the teflon just decided to flake off and then cook.

Chemical smoke and chunks of teflon chemical specks in our food/soup sounds very cancerous. Can we take legal action?
